TAW Case study - Kebur Garden Materials

The vision

In this project by TAW Garden Landscapes and Mistletoe Garden Design, a Mediterranean-inspired garden with a Roman-style pool was created. The house featured Italian influences, which the garden design mirrored through planting and a Roman-inspired swimming pool.

The materials

Egyptian Limestone Sinai Pearl

The clients chose Egyptian Limestone Sinai Pearl Tumbled and Etched paving for its:

Soft, natural tones that complement Mediterranean planting
Tumbled finish for an antique, weathered look
Etched surface to improve slip resistance around the pool

To protect the stone and simplify installation, Kebur pre-sealed the limestone, helping guard against everyday stains and chlorine exposure.

Alder Clay Pavers

For added warmth and texture, Wienerberger Alder Alfaton Clay Pavers were laid, bringing a Tuscan charm to the space.

Fugapave

The paving was jointed with FlowPoint grout, providing smooth water run-off and a colour that blended well with the paving.

Overcoming challenges

A key technical challenge was shaping the limestone coping stones to fit the pool’s unique curves. Kebur provided a full templating and cutting service, ensuring each coping stone was cut with precision for a seamless edge. This was achieved efficiently thanks to prompt communication and close collaboration between all parties.

within a reasonable timeframe, which allowed us to continue the pace of our build.

The result

The finished terrace is a perfect blend of Mediterranean elegance and practicality. The soft limestone tones and warm clay pavers complement the pool and planting, while Kebur’s pre-sealing and custom cutting ensured both durability and exceptional finish.
