Kebur Porcelain Stonewall Gold Cladding allows you to create a seamless mortared natural stone wall effect either indoors or out. Tiles are 600 x 100mm (16.5 pieces per sq mtr).
A unique solution allows you to achieve a finishing level where the module of each tile disappears from view once the laying is complete. The stones have varied sizes and shapes to create a visual effect similar to authentic natural stone.
Simply fix to the wall with Tile Adhesive and use 2mm tile spacers. You then grout over the tiles with their special surface that facilitates the grouts easy adherenece to leave the seemless finish. Porcelain Stonewall Cladding tiles are frost resistant and feature substantial shading variation. Porcelain cladding is also resistant to stains and chemicals, easy to clean and colour stable.
How to install Stonewall porcelain cladding
- Before laying at the site, check the shade, size, and choice of material
- When laying, always use tiles from several boxes to obtain the ideal colour mix
- Check the product for any obvious flaws before laying, which would not be covered by the guarantee if pointed out after laying
- Use adhesives which are suitable for the various types of use, and follow the instructions on the packaging
- Offset mortar installation, with 2mm spacers
- When laying it is not recommended to stagger tiles by more than 6-10cm (2”-4”).
- Grout caerfully ensuring to fill the raised parts. The patented technology will facilitate the grouts easy adherence. Before the grout is dry, begin the cleaning operation with a transversal movement (to avoid excessive removal of grout)
- Ensure the top of walls are capped to prevent the ingress of water behind the tiles.
For routine maintenance, we suggest a few days after installation, to clean thoroughly by using water solutions and buffered acids in order to dissolve and completely remove any construction debris.
It is also important to rinse well until the wash water turns out clean, to prevent stains caused by improper or late removal of the grouting used on the joints.
