Description

The in-lite® SUB pond lights are specifically designed for permanent submerged underwater usage and as such feature a perfect IP68 rating. The light heads are constructed from glass-fibre reinforced nylon to provide great long term strength and corrosion resistance, and are black in colour to disguise the fittings within the pond. The light head is attached to a weighted base with four stable feet, keeping the fitting submerged once installed. They feature a 10m cable length as the push-fit connection to the EASY-LOCK cannot be submerged underwater.

The SUB features an LED chip with a CRI rating of 92, meaning the purity of the light they emit is very high. In layman’s terms, this means that the objects you are lighting up will look much closer to their true colour. This is especially important with outdoor lighting that is used around plants and trees, and in this case the pond plants, preserving the colours of foliage and flowers when the sun goes down.

Each 12v in-lite® fitting features an LED with a 25,000 hour lifetime, giving you the peace of mind that they are built to last for years to come. They are covered under warranty for 5 years when used with the in-lite® system. Each light is supplied with one of their EASY-LOCK connectors for easily connecting. to anywhere on the chosen in-lite® CBL 12v cable. The fitting is then easily connected to the EASY-LOCK using the push-fit connection. The cable length between the EASY-LOCK and the light fitting can be easily extended by up to 3m using the CBL-EXT cable extensions.

Note: When calculating the total transformer load within an in-lite® system it is crucial to add up the total VA rating rather than the wattage due to power losses. This VA load should not exceed the total stated on the chosen transformer.
