Description

The in-lite® AIM modular spike spotlight range is a clever concept with excellent customisability, suitable for a wide range of lighting applications from planting to paths to trees and more. The AIM is available in three different riser sizes, the AIM EXTRA LOW (160mm), AIM LOW (400mm) and finally the AIM (800mm). These risers feature a single AIM LIGHTHEAD built-in, and are supplied with a heavy-duty stake for secure spike mounting into soft ground. The real beauty of the AIM range is that up to two extra AIM LIGHTHEADs can then be easily added modularly to the AIM spike spotlights. This enables each riser to have three separate light sources that can be independently adjusted.

The AIM LIGHTHEADs themselves utilise a simple push-fit design with no need for additional cabling. Just remove the small cap from the AIM riser, push the AIM LIGHTHEAD into place, then replace the cap. Each LIGHTHEAD emits a 35 degree beam of light that projects to a distance of around 3.5m, making them perfect for lighting shrubs and small trees amongst other applications. The LIGHTHEADs also feature a built-in KILLFLASH honeycomb lens that aids in the prevention of glare.

Each in-lite® fitting features an LED with a 25,000 hour lifetime, giving you the peace of mind that they are built to last for years to come. They are covered under warranty for 5 years when used with the in-lite® system. Each light is supplied with one of their EASY-LOCK connectors for easily connecting to anywhere on the chosen in-lite® CBL cable. The fitting is then easily connected to the EASY-LOCK using the push-fit connection. The cable length between the EASY-LOCK and the light fitting can be easily extended by up to 3m using the CBL-EXT CORDs cable extensions.

The in-lite® AIM range are compatible with the standard 12v in-lite® system, as well as the 21v SMART HUB-300 system.

Installation value: 2.10 VA

Note: When calculating the total transformer load within an in-lite® system it is crucial to add up the total VA rating rather than the wattage due to power losses. This VA load should not exceed the total stated on the chosen transformer.
