10/2 gauge cable is suitable for an impressive cable run length of up to 80m from all 12v Hub transformers. When used in conjunction with a Smart Hub 300 this can increase to 160m. Various lengths of cable are available.

One thing all in-lite® systems share is they all require the two-wire IN-LITE® CBL cable for the EASY-LOCK connectors to work correctly and remain waterproof. As the in-lite® systems all run on 12v power, they are totally safe, with adults and children protected against harmful electric shocks. As a result the cable does not need to be laid in trenches and can instead be simply laid on the surface in borders, or alternatively hidden under a light layer of mulch or top-soil.
The specially formulated coating on the in-lite® system cable makes it self-healing, which means the EASY-LOCK connectors can be removed from the cable and repositioned without any permanent damage, and remaining waterproof.
