Core Edge Tree Rings are pre-rolled steel rings designed to create the perfect edge restraint, especially for plants, trees, shrubs and garden ornaments and features.

Available in a 600mm diameter (supplied in two sections) and 900mm diameter (supplied in three sections).

Weathered Steel Edging

The ASTM A588 weathering steel has a unique rust-like appearance that suits many architectural projects. When exposed to the elements, the steel edging is allowed to rust and this rust forms a protective coating. Best-known under the US trademark COR-TEN®, the protective coating resists and slows the corrosive effects of all types of weather. As this edging is supplied in its raw state, you’ll need to allow 6-8 weeks for oxidation to occur.

Powder Coated Edgings

The raw steel has a 20-micron galvanised zinc coating to increase the edgings life-span. The product is then finished with a 110-micron polyester powder coating, designed for external use. The coating is applied electrostatically and is then cured under extreme heat to allow it to flow and form a ‘skin’. This creates a hard wearing flexible finish that is tougher than conventional paint.
