This heavy duty sleeper tape is the ultimate protection for hardwood and softwood sleepers, especially incised and rough timber. Moisture is the biggest enemy of timber, leading to decay even in treated wood. This tape features a specialist M50+ rubber morphing adhesive that moulds perfectly to uneven surfaces, creating a 100% waterproof barrier – even when screwed through.

Ideal for landscaping projects that require longevity, HD sleeper tape completely prevents sleepers from rotting when in contact with soil, significantly extending their lifespan. It is also completely non-toxic, making it safe for organic gardens and raised vegetable beds.

The Walther Strong HD sleeper tape is designed for use as an overlap to seal exposed areas and joints on timber, effectively preventing air, moisture, and water ingress. It is ideal for protecting timber against water-related damage, including rot and micobial growth such as mould.

This product is suitable for use in high-moisture environments and can be applied to damp timber. When overlapped onto itself, it creates a complete and durable water seal.

Instructions:

1. Cover the side and base of the sleeper that’s in contact with the soil/bark


2. Take the backing off and apply pressure to the tape to start bonding process


3. Add soil/bark
