EASYJoint porcelain is a next-generation jointing compound supplied in 15kg tubs in a choice of two colours; silver and white gold.

Benefits of EASYJoint porcelain include; no mixing, consistent colour, no waste, very clean to use, and no harmful dust. It sets hard to form a non-permeable solid bond with porcelain and is BS7533-101 compliant. It is specifically designed for use on porcelain, but is also suitable for other paving types. Can be used in exterior and interior settings (subject to joint dimensions) and is suitable for both commerical and residential projects.

Conditions must be completely dry to apply this product and to ensure a good cohesion and long-term resistance the compound must dry completely after application before being exposed to rain (24 to 48 hours minimum). The drying time will be extended in cold weather.

The product is poured over a small, manageable area and swept into the joints until full. Vibrate the joints using a hand vibration tile beater. If vibration compaction is not available then hand tamping using a rubber mallet can be used. Afterwards, top up the joints and repeat compaction until finish is just below the paving surface. Remove the excess with a broom and leaf blower. Water the joints with a sprayer for 15-20 seconds, stopping when the water doesn’t absorb. Do not over water. If the joint starts to “foam”, this is the binding agent being washed out. Leave to dry for minimum of 24 hours.

The compaction is essential, failure to do so will result in failed joint integrity and performance. Alternatively strike the joint and repeat this process to achieve the desired level. Over-compaction can reduce water abosrption and may result in inactivated compound.

The application water must be able to drain through to the sub-base.
