How to shop safely in our store

Thank you for your continued support during this challenging time. Here are some of the strict measures we have in place to keep you and our staff safe and to get your supplies to you quickly:

1. We’ve changed our usual opening hours so we can process orders safely. Our phone lines and Landscape Centre open:

Monday to Friday 8am-3pm

Saturday 8am-12.30pm

2. Please do not visit us if you or anyone in your household has symptoms of Covid-19

3. Please follow social distancing in store and when we deliver, and be patient if you have to queue. Our sales team will be delighted to help you with your enquiry when you are served.

4. We tend to be quieter mid-mornings from about 9-11am

5. Please use hand sanitiser when you enter the premises

6. Please come on your own where you can. Maximum two customers per household and no under 16s please

7. We prefer contactless payments if possible to reduce the risk of transmission. We do accept cash if you need to use it.

8. Please wear a face covering. From 24 July 2020 customers the government requires customers to wear face coverings whilst visiting shops. If you are unable to wear a face covering, or the wearing of face coverings makes communication difficult, please tell a colleague when you visit us.

  1. Hello,
    I see that you are planning to restart online orders from the 14th April.
    I have an existing order, [Order #65069] (March 23, 2020) and would like to still receive the items, in fact I would like to add to the order if possible.
    Do I need to re-order, or will I be able to get this order completed.

  3. Hi
    Struggling to get through on the phone but wanted to know whether you are able to supply most of your products listed on your website. I am looking at bulk bags of decorative stone – do you have most of them or have a reduced set?

    • Hi Paul – sorry our phone lines are busy. We are currently out of stock on White Limestone bulk bags and our supplier is closed so we won’t be able to replenish for a while. Most other lines have good stock levels however. We’re taking orders for delivery week commencing 27th April. Do keep trying our phone lines if you’d like to order.

  5. Having problems getting through on the phone, need post mix, and couple of railway sleepers/ brown hard wood so that we can get the flagpole up out side St Mary’s Ash Vale for St George’s Day.

  6. Hello. Would like to place order for some gravel and ballast and a few other things. Please can you advise estimated delivery date assuming I can place the order today/tomorrow? We are in GU8 area.

      We may be able to get items to you sooner, but are currently expecting to deliver within 2-3 weeks. We apologise for the much longer than usual wait. This is due to the safety arrangements we have had to put in place. Do call us on 01252 517571 if you’d like to order. We’ll be very glad to help you.

  7. Hi,
    I would like to place quite a large order for delivery ie 3 x jumbo bags of MOT type 1, 2 x jumbo bags sharp sand, 1 x jumbo bag ballast 10 bags of cement, could you let me know when it would likely get delivered if I place the order today, please?

      We know how important it is for our customers to get their garden supplies quickly. Unfortunately at the moment our waiting times are much higher than we would like and we’re grateful to all our customers for their patience. We’re working really hard to speed up our service whilst keeping customers and staff safe as our top priority. One of the things we’re doing is running a trial collection service for a small group of trade customers to see what we can safely manage going forward. If we are able to extend this, we’ll let customers know, including posting details on this page.

      You’re right, we know how much it will help our customers to be able to visit and collect products on the day. We’ve really missed seeing our customers and we’re busy planning to safely re-open in the very near future. Keep an eye on this page for details!

  11. WHAT IS THE DELIVERY DATE FOR SAIGE COMPOSITE FENCING?

    • Hi David

      Composite fencing is a special order item, so if you’re happy to pay the additional courier charge of £130 we can most likely get this to you within three to four weeks (which is our current delivery timeframe). If you didn’t want to pay the extra courier fee, then it would be one to two months depending on when our next order from Saige is coming in. Do call us for a chat about this any time Monday to Friday 8am-3pm on 01252 517571.

  12. Hi is it not time for another update on your trading arrangements? In particular what plans you may have for reopening. We are ready to order some products which we need to see in real life before ordering including trellis and slate paving. So we hope you may be able to reopen with social distancing soon
