At Kebur Garden Materials we continue to have a strong relationship with Bradstone and they are responsible for manufacturing and supplying a large proportion of the paving, block paving, decorative aggregates and walling that we sell. The levels of service Bradstone offer and the quality of the products they produce make them a good supplier.

The Bradstone range of garden and driveway products have been manufactured and marketed since 1956. Bradstone originated from the family company of E H Bradley and Sons, which was established in 1902. Throughout the years Bradstone have evolved their stock range to suit current trends and tastes and most years see the discontinuation of some products and the launch of new ones.

So, let’s take a look at the new products, starting with the Ancestry range. Bradstone say that the Ancestry range has period charm and the authenticity of yesteryear and has been moulded from original natural stone masters. The range includes paving, which in it’s look is not too disimilar to the old ranges of Milldale or Weatherdale, walling which is essentially the same moulds as what was known as landscape walling with three block sizes available and an edging in which a group of ten stones line up, just as the stone edging used to. The full range has a rustic appearance and is available in a choice of three colours; Abbey Brown, Abbey Storm and Abbey Original.

Also new to Bradstone is the Old Riven Walling.  The Milldale Walling, long part of the Bradstone range has been discontinued, but the Old Riven Walling Blocks are the same but in a different colour, Autumn Cotswold to match the popular Old Riven Autumn Cotswold Paving.  The Old Riven walling makes for a quick and easy garden wall build. It’s available as full-block or half-for your convenience. Old Riven walling perfectly executes a traditional look without the problems you associate with laying stone. It also rids the need for time-consuming cutting. Its charming, weathered appearance makes Old Riven ideal for classic, cottage style gardens and a coping stone is available to match.

Stonemaster Paving is a new contemporary type of paving, that follows the recent trend of laying paving in a linear design.  The slabs are 800mm x 200mm.  With the existing Stonemaster block paving you can seemlessly join the front of your property with the back.  With great aesthetic appeal, the sleek looking contemporary StoneMaster creates the illusion of more space and is the last word in ultra modern patio solutions. StoneMaster is available in three buff shades replicating sandstone, and three grey shades to give a natural granite look.  This product is made from 54% non-primary materials.

Much like the Stonemaster where Bradstone have introduced a paving slab to match a driveway block paving, with Panache they have unveiled a block paving range to match the paving slabs and give that co-ordinated look around your property.  The Panache Paving has been a big success for Bradstone, originally launced in three colours; black, silver grey and white and then later; chocolate, fudge and cream were added to the range.  Black, Silver Grey and White are often used together and similarly the other three colours as well and this appears to be the way Bradstone market it, but people have opted to use just one or two colours.  With the paving you have a choice of a textured or ground (smooth) finish, the new for 2103, block paving made of 58% non-primary materials is available in the textued finish and again you have the option to mix and match colours.

A couple of other new products worth a quick mention are a new Cloisters smaller patio pack containing thinner paving making it easier to handle and install and a product called Patio Deck, an innovative complete paving system making laying paving easier than it has ever been before.  Perhaps more more the DIYer than your seasoned landscaper; Patio Deck is essentially a framework that eliminates the task of digging out foundations and allows paving to be laid quickly whatever the weather without mortar mess.  It is designed to hold the Panache Paving.
